Employee Spotlight ➡️ Sonora Zaugg, Farm Management Associate
Meet Sonora—a vital part of our farm management team here at Root Ag Advisory. She plays a key role in supporting both permanent and row crop operations, with hands-on experience in asset management, budgeting, financial reporting, and property oversight.
Lately, she’s been serving as a water liaison, representing Root Ag in critical discussions and projects across the West.
Sonora holds a degree in Agricultural Business with a focus in Animal Health from BYU–Idaho and is actively involved in the Idaho Cattlewomen Association and Organic Valley’s Generation O Program. Her roots run deep in ag—she grew up on a southeastern Idaho dairy farm where her family also grows alfalfa and barley and runs beef cattle.
When she’s not managing farm data and fieldwork, you’ll find her snowshoeing, propagating houseplants, or spending quality time with her husband and son.
